In less than a year of business we’ve already learnt so much from how much stock to invest in, to what works in marketing to even when it’s time to give up on an idea. You won’t have seen The Eighty6 Scene newsletter for a while or any blog post updates, but that’s because we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to revamp pretty much EVERYTHING.

We thought it was time to give everyone an insight on plans because we’ve got some mega developments coming soon that we can’t wait to show. So here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store for Eighty6…

Our friend, web designer and local legend Paul Bell has been working on a new website for us. This will be much easier to use for our customers, feel a lot more professional to navigate and overall will just look unreal!! It’s already starting to take shape and once we launch it we’ll want to hear what everyone thinks about it so stay tuned on this one.

We’ve been out and about meeting some of the best Newcastle has to offer in urban creative culture. It’s been inspiring getting to learn about lots of different industries, businesses and talented individuals based right here in our city. We’ll be sharing regular blog interviews uncovering people’s routes to success, ‘how to’ videos behind the scenes and lots more about what makes Newcastle a great place to live and work in right now. If you haven’t already make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter here, because it’s coming!

Most importantly we have been working on a new clothing collection. This will be an evolvement from the first collection, but still keeping the big, bold and badass graphic style that is the Eighty6 brand. Expect an injection of colour, camo and oversized script and prints that we can’t wait to launch and see people’s reactions to. The designs have been sent to print with our friends at Woven Inc and will then be photographed in the next couple of weeks ready to go up on the new website.

The Eighty6 Crew – our friends, our inspiration and our supporters, have also created their own individual designs, which will be launched alongside the new Eighty6 collection. Each design is completely different from the next and reflects the individual crew member’s passion and personality. We think that together, with the Eighty6 originals collection, they make a pretty cohesive line that we are really proud of.

Customers have always asked us if we did our designs in bigger t-shirt sizes – so we listened and you can now get the new collection in XXL!! So help us spread the word and tell a big friend.

We’ve decided to round all this hard work off with a massive party. On Saturday 13th August we’ll be at World Headquarters in Newcastle city centre with performances from the likes of Boy Jumps Ship, Guardian and more. There will be giveaways, exclusive discounts on the new collection and lots more entertaining stuff! This will be a ticket only event – the tickets will be free – but you can’t come in without one. Tickets will be available to pick up at Northern Glory Tattoo Studio in the city centre or you will be able to request postal delivery by emailing us at – we’ll let you know as soon tickets are printed and ready to go! We expect them to go quickly though so get in touch if you want some on reserve now as we already have a reserve list started!

We also have a MAJOR collaboration in the pipe line, which we can’t talk about just yet, but trust when we say, once this is all done you won’t be able to avoid hearing about it!

SO that’s it for now! All our current stock online is in the SALE so get it before its gone – as these designs won’t be coming back into stock! We’ll be dropping all our new developments in the next few weeks so keep following us on social media and sign up to our emailer if you haven’t already. SIGN UP HERE>
